Getting started

From invoice to books, with a record of every step.

numrow handles the invoices a business receives and sends. Documents come in, numrow reads them, your rules check them, the right people approve them, and the result reaches your accounts.

What does numrow do?

It takes care of the invoice side of finance: supplier invoices and expenses coming in, customer invoices going out, and matching both against your bank statement. Your accountant can work in the same workspace.

How does numrow process an invoice?

numrow collects invoices from the sources you configure, extracts their information, validates them against your rules, and routes them through your approval workflow before they are accounted for.

Who is numrow for?

Independents and small businesses, finance teams running several entities, and the accounting firms that serve them. The product is the same for all three; the controls grow with the team.

Where can numrow be used?

numrow is built for Mauritius and the European Union. It produces the invoice formats and applies the tax rules each of them requires.

How do I get started?

Book a demo and bring a few of your own invoices. We set up your workspace with you — your organisation, your users and the rules you want applied — and you start with your next batch of invoices.

Invoices & documents

Every document, read once and kept.

Everything starts with a document. numrow accepts invoices and receipts from the channels you already use, reads them for you, and keeps the original next to everything taken from it.

Which documents does numrow handle?

Supplier invoices, receipts and expense claims, customer invoices, and structured e-invoices. PDFs, photos and scans all work.

How do documents reach numrow?

From the sources you choose: forwarded by email, uploaded from a browser or a phone, or sent by another system. You decide which of them your organisation uses.

Do I still have to type anything?

Rarely. numrow reads the information your books need — supplier, dates, amounts and tax — and flags anything that deserves a second look. You review; you do not retype.

Is the original document kept?

Yes. Every figure stays linked to the document it came from, so anyone reviewing an entry — you, your accountant or an auditor — can trace it back to its source.

What if the same invoice arrives twice?

numrow recognises a document it has already received and tells you, so the same invoice is not booked or paid twice.

Approvals

Checked by your rules, approved by your people.

Nothing reaches your books unchecked. numrow applies your rules to each invoice and sends it to the people who should decide, so nobody has to chase a signature by email.

What does numrow check?

That an invoice is complete and consistent with what you already know: a supplier you work with, the right tax, amounts that add up and, where you use them, a matching purchase order. Anything that does not pass is held, with the reason.

Who approves what?

You decide. Approval can depend on the amount, the supplier or the department, and numrow sends each invoice to the right person with the context they need to decide.

Do approvers need to be at their desk?

No. They can approve in the app or straight from their email.

What happens when someone overrides a check?

It is recorded. An override needs a reason, and the reason stays with the invoice for whoever looks at it next.

Can my accountant take part?

Yes. Your accountant reviews in the same workspace, and their seat is free on every plan.

Integrations

Works with the software you already run.

numrow exchanges data with your accounting software and your other systems, so your ledger and numrow agree without anyone copying figures across.

See integrations
Does numrow connect to my accounting software?

Yes. Approved entries go to your accounting software or ERP in the form it expects, and reference data such as your suppliers and chart of accounts can come the other way.

Is there an API?

Yes. Customers and the integrators working with them can connect their own systems to numrow through a documented API. The documentation is provided to customers.

Do I need a developer?

No. File exports and imports cover what most businesses need without writing any code. The API is there when you want more.

Does numrow connect to my bank?

No. You import the statement your bank already gives you, and numrow matches it against your invoices. Your banking credentials never reach numrow.

Can I take my data with me?

Yes. You can export your data at any time while your subscription is live, and for 90 days after it ends.

Security & data

Your data stays yours.

Invoices say a great deal about a business. We use your data to run the service for you and for nothing else, we do not sell it, and we keep each customer's data apart from every other's.

The details are in our Privacy Notice and on the Data Protection page.

Where is my data stored?

In Singapore and the Asia-Pacific region, under the Mauritius Data Protection Act 2017 and, where it applies, the GDPR.

Who can see my data?

In your organisation, each person sees what their role allows. At numrow, only the people whose work requires it, and their access is logged.

Is there an audit trail?

Yes. Who did what, and when, is recorded, because financial records have to be able to answer that question.

Is my data encrypted and backed up?

Yes. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and backed up regularly under the same controls as the service itself.

What happens if something goes wrong?

If a security incident affects your data, we tell you without undue delay, with what we know, so you can meet your own obligations.

Account & support

Customers get help inside numrow.

Once you sign in, guides, tutorials and support for your account are a click away. This page explains numrow; the app shows you how to use it.

How do customers contact support?

From inside the app, or by writing to [email protected]. We reply within one business day.

I am not a customer yet. Who do I talk to?

Book a demo, or write to [email protected]. A person reads every message.

Who manages users and access?

Your organisation's administrator invites users and decides what each of them can do. If you cannot sign in, ask them first.

How does billing work?

By plan, as set out on the pricing page. You can cancel at any time, with effect from the end of the current period.

Is numrow running right now?

The live status is just below.

System status

The chip reads the platform's own readiness probe, live, from your browser. It answers whether numrow is serving requests right now — nothing more detailed than that is published.

If it says the service is disrupted and your work is blocked, write to [email protected]. We do not need a ticket to know something is down, but we do want to know what it stopped you doing.
